Last week saw our first Hockey victory on the new pitch and against none other than Marlborough College! The newly formed U14A’s pulled together and produced a very impressive victory, winning 4-2 with two goals from Caroline. The U13 and U12’s netball season got off to a good start with 5 wins out of 6 against Hardenhuish. Ella, Shubha, and Oonah were the U13 MVPs and Lizzie, Susannah and Adriana were the U12 MVPs.
On Saturday our Junior Cross Country team travelled down to Taunton for the regional round of the National Schools Cup. Ella and Susie produced two impressive performances to finish 16th and 19th out of a field of over 70 althletes, helping the team to finish in 8th place.
Meanwhile our County Lacrosse players represented Dorset and Wiltshire in the SW Counties Tournament.
All four teams played some excellent lacrosse, all finishing runners up to Hampshire in U19 and Berkshire in the U15. Special congratulations to Jemima, Emily, Georgi, Laura and Iona who have been invited to trial for the SW U19 Team.
