AmenaIn June, Amena (Year 13) will be unicycling 60 miles (100km) around Singapore in order to raise money for the Rainforest Alliance. The Rainforest Alliance is a brilliant non-profit organisation which works all around the world to normalise responsible business in order to 'protect the rainforest, improve the livelihoods of farmers and forest communities, promote their human rights and help them mitigate and adapt to the climate crisis'.

Having grown up in South East Asia where the effects of deforestation, rising sea levels, pollution and other issues are impossible to ignore, climate change has always been something Amena is passionate about. In addition to this, with the positive environmental changes we've seen due to the coronavirus situation, now is a crucial time to help charities such as this one to push this progress further and use it as a springboard to try and salvage as much of the environment as we can.
