CGA TalkThe termly Calne Girls' Association (CGA) talk for girls in the Sixth Form was held on Tuesday 18th September.

Our two speakers were both leavers from 1987, neither of whom had set foot on St Mary’s soil since the day they left. Having arrived in time for a tour of the school, followed by a very animated supper with some of the girls, Clare Ward spoke first of her life after Calne and how she ended up in a very round-about way finding her dream job as a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. Rachel Drummond-Hay then talked about her job running Drummer TV, producing fascinating programmes and documentaries , and in both cases the audience sat in complete silence, captivated by every word they spoke.
