Successful Gold DofE Expedition

D of EFifteen of our LVI (Year 12) students spent the May Bank Holiday weekend navigating around the Brecon Beacons on their Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award Practice Expedition. They had been responsible for planning their routes, menu and packing in preparation for their Final Expedition at the end of term.

Girls receive Gold DofE certificates at Buckingham Palace

Gold D of EOn Thursday 17th May, some of the girls travelled to London for a very special occasion - the Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award ceremony at Buckingham Palace.

What a Wedding!

Of course I’m not writing about that other minor event that took place at Windsor on Saturday. No. I write about the mock wedding that the entire Year 10 enjoyed during their period 1 Religious Studies GCSE lesson on Saturday, 19th May.
