Girls inspired by History of Art Trip to Paris

'Paris is the dance and I am the dancer’: these words from Josephine Baker, the talented Parisian entertainer who embodied the Jazz Age, reflect the enduring effervescence of the city of light. The breakfast room of our Art Deco hotel had formerly been a night time haunt of Baker and the glamorous presence of her entourage remained enshrined in the original chrome fittings, tiled floor and mirrored walls of what was the once the ‘Mikado’ nightclub.


Girls complete their Gold DofE Practice Expedition with flying colours

Fourteen girls met early on Friday 15th April to sort their group kit and then set off to the Black Mountains, Wales for their Gold DofE Practice Expedition.


Girls experience unforgettable Cultural Trip to China

On 22nd March, nine pupils and two teachers left Heathrow to fly to China. Fourteen hours later we arrived in Beijing ready to start the adventure of a lifetime (after a quick sleep to recover!). 

Tennis Academy Easter Camp a huge 'hit'

St Mary’s Calne Tennis Academy (SMCTA) ran its first Holiday Camp over Easter and it was a great success. St Margaret’s pupils attended three days of fun, energetic games and competitive tennis.

Superb Pre-season Tennis Training in Palma

Pre Season Tennis TrainingNineteen girls travelled to Palma for the pre-season tennis training at Vilas Tennis Academy. We arrived at our hotel late in the afternoon but there was still time to have a swim, spa and jacuzzi before our supper. There was so much choice of food to prepare us for our oncoming five days of tennis training, including steak, sushi and caviar!
