St Mary’s was very well represented all weekend at one of the first Equestrian shows of the school year and we couldn’t have wished for a better start back!

We had beautiful weather over the weekend of 12th/13th September at Rectory Farm and picked up two tickets for the NSEA National Championships.

Saturday got off to a great start, with Amelia, Carlotta and Philippa all jumping clear in their respective classes.

On Sunday, we went back to Rectory Farm for a further three classes.  The highlight of the day was a team win in the biggest class of the day, picking up our 90cm Show Jumping Championship qualification. Congratulations to the team of Clemmie, Fifi, Isla and Lily who will go on to compete at the National School Championships in October.

A very close-fought 1m class also saw Fifi, Isla and Lily picking up team second place and another Championship qualification.

Well done to Eva on her team debut and to Ruby who also competed in two classes.

Nancy jumped her first 110cm one-day event in the Schools' Equestrian Games at Broadway on her new pony, jumping a great double clear.

After a quiet few months, it was an exciting weekend of sport and great to see St Mary’s so well represented across the weekend.
