ESSA XC Cup 2 A very wet and muddy day seemed like the perfect weather for the Regional Finals of the Cross Country Cup, held on Saturday 9th November in Taunton!

Cross CountryThe girls performed well at the Area Cross Country Championships held at Grittleton House on 6th November. The course was flat and fast and sticky in places but they coped well with the 4.2km distance.

Successful Hockey Tour to the Netherlands

hockey flagsThis Half Term a group of 21 girls from MIV (Year 8) to LV (Year 10) travelled to the Netherlands for a hockey tour. Over the course of five days the girls played at different clubs, had coaching sessions with Dutch professionals and visited several historic areas of Amsterdam.

PE TalkDonaldson Week kicked off on Monday 21st October with a day looking at ‘Enhancing Performance in Sport’ for the Fourth Form. A range of Sport Science disciplines were on offer, allowing the girls to experience and learn about other methods of improving their athletic potential beyond physical training.

Top Pentathlon Performance by Lily at South West Combined Events

South West Combined EventsCongratulations to Lily (Year 9) who competed in the Pentathlon for Wiltshire at the South West Combined Events in Exeter on Sunday 23rd June. She finished in 17th place, with the County Team finishing in an impressive 2nd place.
