RADA presentationsOn 2nd March, RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art) were privy to another outstanding set of RADA Presentations from 16 members of our LVI (Year 12).

As ever, the subject matter was diverse and fascinating and included such topics as the drugging of horses in the competitive industry, the overlooking of mental health issues, the Internalised Male Gaze, the relationship between art and healing, climate issues, the phenomenon of child beauty pageants, global legalisation of same-sex marriage and whether the existence of a poet laureate is an impediment to creativity – to name but a few. To a girl, the RADA pupils delivered with poise, confidence, correct pace, confluence, articulation, engagement and intelligence. RADA were extremely impressed and spoke of their relief that 'the country was clearly going to be in safe hands!'

What makes this achievement so much more notable this year is that much of the course had to be taught online via Teams and the whole of the presentations themselves were delivered online, live to the RADA panel. Five of the girls were also presenting live from Hong Kong and Russia. You have every reason, girls, to be extremely proud of yourselves.
