Teacher of French

Full-time, September 2020

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and inspirational graduate, with outstanding inter-personal skills, to teach French throughout the school.  We would expect the successful candidate to be able to teach from beginner to A Level.  An additional responsibility within the MFL Department may be available for the right candidate.

Head of Chemistry

Full-time, September 2020

We are looking for a highly committed, passionate Science leader to further develop and deliver our unique and enriching knowledge-led academic programme.  Science is central to the success of the school and we are looking for a talented individual who has belief in the ability of all the students to succeed in Science.  We need a subject leader who will strive for excellence in all aspects of teaching and learning, and who can continue to inspire the department to take the pupils on a journey from basic scientific ability to flourishing young scientists, forging new and interesting pathways and networks.

Teacher of Chemistry

Part-time 0.5-0.6 FTE, September 2020

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic teacher, with outstanding inter-personal skills, to teach Chemistry throughout the school up to and including Oxbridge.  The position would suit an enthusiastic, committed and forward looking graduate; applications would be welcome either from experienced teachers or from those who are looking to enter the teaching profession.

Head of Lacrosse

Full-time, September 2020

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced Lacrosse practitioner to develop, direct and implement the strategic vision for Lacrosse at St Mary’s Calne.  Reporting to the Director of Sport, the successful applicant will have responsibility for player and coach development throughout the school (Years 7 – 13) and oversee the day-to-day management and effective administration of St Mary’s Lacrosse programme.

Graduate Assistant Lacrosse

Full-time, Fixed-term, September 2020

We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated graduate with excellent communication skills, to assist with the provision of Lacrosse within the school and, in addition, to undertake a significant number of boarding duties.  The position would suit an enthusiastic, committed and forward looking graduate who would be keen to contribute to all aspects of life in a boarding school and who might, in the longer term, be considering a career in teaching.

Graduate Organist

Full-time, Fixed-term, September 2020

We are looking for a Graduate Organist who will play the organ each morning in Chapel, teach 1:1 piano and organ lessons and make a positive contribution to the delivery of Music throughout the school both academically and as part of an exciting extra curricular Music programme. 

For a candidate who is also willing to take on a number of boarding duties, school accommodation will be provided.
