Health Centre Administrator

There is an opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our Boarding School Health Centre team.  The successful candidate will work alongside the Lead Nurse to ensure a high standard of professionalism, communication, auditing and record keeping while supporting our team of Senior Nursing Sisters with day to day organisational tasks to ensure the welfare of all our students and good communication with parents in this busy Health Centre. 

This is a part time role (25 hours per week, Monday - Friday), term time only, equating to 35 working weeks per year.

Day Housemistress (Day Matron)

An opportunity is available to join the pastoral team within one of our Sixth Form Boarding Houses. The Day Housemistress assists the Housemistress in running the Boarding House during the school day as well as contributing to every aspect of the girls’ welfare and pastoral life. In addition, the Day Housemistress helps with the organisation and administration required in the successful running of the Boarding House and is expected to be enthusiastic, energetic, flexible and have the ability to relate well to the relevant age group (16-19 years). Good IT skills would be an advantage. This is not a residential post.

This is a term time role (35 working weeks per year).  During working weeks, to ensure full supervision of students, this post is paid for 47.5 hours per week (9 hours per day, including a paid lunch break as the post-holder is effectively always on duty.  However, time for lunch etc. can be found throughout the day).

Science Technician

There is an opportunity for an experienced Science Technician to join our award-winning team (Platinum Science Mark 2018-2021) at an exciting time when the Head of Science responsibility is being passed to a new incoming Head of Department.  Our new Technician will organise and prepare Biology practical activities, provide specialist technical support for Biology (including classroom support) and will also support the other services of the Science Department resulting in a full, varied and satisfying role within the team.

This is a part time role (36 hours per week over 5 days), and a predominately term time post, equating to 36 working weeks per year (term time weeks plus one extra week in the Summer holidays).
