School Shop Assistant - Part time, 12 hrs per wk (term time)

Starting in September (with training days in advance)

The School Shop lies on the joint campus of St Mary’s Calne and St Margaret’s Preparatory School and plays a vital role in supporting the needs of students and staff.  The shop is used daily by pupils of both schools for sports equipment, stationery, toiletries, tuck and uniform.  The school shop is currently managed by one member of staff, responsible for the above, in addition to the procurement of all school stationery and staff uniform supplies. 

This post is offered on a part time basis, approx. 12 hours per week (1.5 days) including occasional Saturday mornings.  The position is prediminately term time only with some summer holiday work to prepare for the new Autumn term and possible holiday cover by negotiated arrangement.

The position would suit someone flexible, numerate, polite and computer lilterate.  Full details are available in the job description.

School Nurse - Part time, 24 hrs per wk (Mon-Sun), term time

Starting in September 

There is an opportunity for an experienced and suitably qualified nurse to join our friendly and professional Health Centre Team.  The successful candidate will have the ability to relate well with pupils of all ages (mainly 11-18 years), parents and outside agencies; be able to demonstrate high levels of confidentiality and will have a professional outlook. 

The part time post offers 24 hours per week on a rota basis which includes evenings and weekends.  The position is term time only (35 weeks per year).

The position would suit someone flexible, friendly and computer lilterate (use of the school's database is required).  Full details are available in the job description.
