Miss Davis taught some MIV girls in manipulating Ex-Library Books, to enter this years’ ‘Re-cycle an Ex-Library book competition’ at Bath Library. They developed their paper cutting, folding and design skills, to create some beautiful collaborative book sculptures. Within the lesson, a couple of girls were awarded a prize for the most outstanding effort which was given to Ariana Watling and Amelia Jacobs MIV – Well done girls!
Last year GCSE Artists entered the competition, and as a result Octavia Thomson won first place in 12-17 age category and Millie Marriott Webb was awarded Runner-up in respective category. Both girls thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I have my fingers crossed for this years’ entries.
