Snow brings havoc to the end of the lacrosse season

Unfortunately, the snow brought more havoc and upset to the end of the lacrosse season with the U15A National Schools, South West Tournament for U13 and U12 and the St Patrick’s Day Tournament at Marlborough all casualties to the weather. However, the 2nds and U15Bs enjoyed their National Schools on Saturday, both holding their own in such tough freezing conditions amongst the best schools in the country. The 2nds just missed out on a place in the quarter finals but the U15Bs qualified, narrowly losing to St Cats, Bramley 1-2. One of the top eight U15B teams in the country is a splendid achievement.

Our netball teams enjoyed slightly warmer weather earlier in the week with the U14A and B Team beating South Wilts Grammar in Salisbury. Meanwhile, we hosted the U15 Area Netball Tournament and the LV were again in impressive form. Our C Team came runners up to our B Team who won the their respective tournament, while the U15As won all their games to be crowned Area Champions.
