Girls give 'chauvinist' peer a lesson in single sex education
The school received some excellent national press coverage today (28.4.12) defending single sex education in the face of comments made by the Good Schools Guide Editor Lord Ralph Lucas. The coverage follows a debate earlier this week organised by the school.
In The Times, Dr Wright and Head Girl Georgia both talk about the innate sexism in Lord Lucas' remarks while in the Telegraph and on Mail Online, Dr Wright condemned Lord Lucas' opinions not girls' schools as 'old-fashioned'.
