Myths and Legends Prep School Day

On Thursday, we were delighted to welcome children from Abberley Hall, St Margaret’s and some of our 11+ 2013 entrants for our Myths and Legends Prep School Day.  Taking part in four different workshops in rotation, the children faced Chinese dragons and did some deafening drumming (!), learnt the origin of Greek play masks before making their own out of Modroc, they enacted scenes from The Labyrinth, based on the legend of Theseus and the Minotaur, in the theatre and learnt about the origins of Hinduism in their Indian Mythology session.  They thoroughly enjoyed the day, as did we, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back again soon.
