On Thursday morning, the LIV Form enjoyed a carousel of cultural activities with the Modern Foreign Languages Department with Mrs Bolton, Miss Wang and Mrs Russell. Cooking some delicious Chinese dishes with Mrs Russell proved to be a very popular activity. The girls enjoyed sampling their creations and the jury appeared to be out as to whether the chicken or the beef was the best!
Everyone had an opportunity to write characters with Miss Wang and turn their hand to some traditional paper cutting. Using the characters, they made the symbol which means happiness.
Finally, all girls participated in a Spanish workshop, learning more about the Geography of Spain and the countries where Spanish is spoken. After the presentation and discussion, the girls researched their chosen ideal destinations and, having completed further online research, they imagined that they were coming to the end of a holiday in their chosen destination and wrote imaginary postcards home.
