Lacrosse: Lacrosse is one of the main winter sports at St Mary’s and is taught as part of the Key Stage 3 Curriculum throughout the Autumn and Spring Terms.

Hockey: Hockey takes place on our floodlit Astro Turf as well as our grass pitches during lesson, club and team practice times.
Netball: Netball at St Mary’s goes from strength to strength. We have 20 teams in all age groups from U12 through to the 1st and 2nd Senior Teams.
Tennis: Tennis has a high profile at St Mary’s and there are a number of opportunities to compete at varying levels in competitions.
Athletics: St Mary’s School fields teams at all age groups in Athletics. Within the timetabled lessons girls are introduced to the different events and learn the basic skills.
Equestrian: Riding is a very popular option at St Mary’s, where the girls compete in a number of competitions.
Swimming: Swimming has gone from strength-to-strength over the last two years at St Mary’s.
Rowing: Rowing is offered in the Summer Term at the Minerva Rowing Club in Bath where the girls train every Friday night in 8s, 4s and 2s.
Fencing: The Fencing Team at St Mary's train every Wednesday night. They have also competed in the Bath Schools Competition which they won.
Sailing: The Sailing Team trains on a Sunday afternoon in the Summer Term, in preparation for the Independent Schools Sail Race Competition at Itchenor.
Skiing: Skiing has grown at St Mary’s over the last three years and we regularly experience success in the British School Girls’ Ski Races in Flaine.
Aerobics: Aerobics is an extra-curricular activity offered to girls in the Sixth Form.
Ballet is offered as a club for girls of all ages in the evenings.
Fitness: The option of working out in the fully equipped Fitness Suite becomes an option in the Fifth and Sixth Form.
RLSS Life Support is an externally accredited Award administrated by the Royal Life Saving Society UK.
Basketball: Basketball is an activity offered to girls in the Fifth and Sixth Form in their Games Afternoon.
