St Mary's had the pleasure of welcoming around 50 flautists from over 15 local schools to the Music Department on Sunday for a day of ensemble work and music making.

On Saturday evening, the Chapel was transformed into a Mediterranean scene for a performance of Dido and Aeneas by the Chamber Choirs of St Mary's and St Margaret's, and Opera Group soloists.
On Friday 1st February, the shimmering sounds of Indonesian gamelan echoed through the corridors of St Mary’s.
On Friday 1st February, the Music Department presented an evening of French Song, celebrating the romantic vocal music of influential French composers.
The Chamber Choir were in fine voice on Wednesday 30th January 2013 when they sang Choral Evensong in Winchester Cathedral.
Congratulations to Jess and Sassie who were successful at audition and were both awarded places in the main orchestra of the National Children's Orchestra (NCO) of Great Britain.
Full of Christmas festive cheer, the LIV Form set off to sing some carols with the residents at Marden Court.
The annual St Mary’s Carol Service took place in the Parish Church on Sunday 9th December and a packed church enjoyed a traditional festival of readings and carols.
The Chamber Choir was privileged to present a concert of seasonal Christmas music at Bowood House at which the Duchess of Cornwall was present.

On Friday 23rd November, Top Hall became a Jazz Café. Parents and guests enjoyed a light lunch whilst listening to the Jazz Band, Ensembles and Soloists.
On Saturday 17th November, the St Mary’s Jazz Band and Concert Artistes travelled to Cardiff to perform on the Glanfa Stage at the magnificent Millennium Centre.
Over the past two weeks, the Music Department has been holding the Fourth Form Music Festival.
With the Calne Music and Arts Festival in full swing, there were lots of concerts to pick and choose from.
On Thursday afternoon, the LIV and MIV Forms took part in Samba workshops with Jamma de Samba and St Mary’s Music Staff.
On Thursday evening, the St Mary’s Calne Concert Artists gave a concert at Marden House as part of the Calne Music and Arts Festival.
Friday 5th October saw one of the most hotly-contested Inter-Company events of the year take place - the Company Music Festival.
A group of singers from St Mary’s attended two consecutive weekends of music-making with the inspirational King’s Singers at Marlborough College.
On Friday evening St Mary’s Concert Artists entertained guests attending a Charity Garden Party at Spye Park in aid of Youth Action Wiltshire.
On Thursday evening, an informal Concert of Chamber Music was held in Chapel.
The Chamber Choir gave a wonderful recital in Keble College, Oxford on Saturday which was greatly enjoyed by a very large audience.
