Mews House is led by Housemistress Mrs Sue Hale.  She is ably assisted by Miss Karen Everest (Deputy Housemistress) and Mrs Rose Saunders (Day Housemistress).  In the evening a member of academic staff will spend time in the House; this gives the girls an opportunity to meet with staff on an informal basis.  Staff assigned to Mews include Mrs Sue Froggatt, Mrs Celia Foley, Mrs Sally Hornby, Mrs Justine Mackenzie and Mrs Jan Mckernan.

The House is nestled in a corner of the school grounds overlooking a magnificent copper beech tree.  Mews is divided into two wings joined together by the kitchen and common room.  Girls spend half a year in each wing.  The older part of Mews was originally  the stables for St Cecilia’s House, whilst the other is a new building with particularly spacious study bedrooms.  The whole House has a wireless network for quick and easy connection to the internet or the school’s computer system.  Girls in Mews are encouraged to become increasingly independent and responsible in a happy, friendly and relaxed environment.
