Mrs DalleyGibbins House is led by Miss Elizabeth Mackintosh, ably supported by Miss Anita Lane (Deputy Housemistress)and Mrs Deborah Dalley (Day Housemistress).  During the week members of the teaching staff come over to assist the Housemistress. This gives the academic staff an opportunity to get to know the pupils on another level.  It can also be a great help if a girl would like an informal chat about their subject.  House tutors for Gibbins include Mrs Hilary Malcolm, Mrs Elizabeth Rothwell, Mrs Claire Bolton, Miss Caroline Sear and Mrs Jenny Moore.

There is a House Weekend Activities Booklet.

Gibbins is home to St Mary’s LV Form.  This is their first year of GCSEs and so the girls are given their own study rooms for the first time in their school career.  This encourages the girls to study more independently.  Gibbins is situated away from the main school along with the other senior Houses.  

Gibbins was opened in 1979 by Miss Gibbins who was Headmistress of St Mary’s from 1946 to 1972.
