Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Award

Congratulations to all the LV Form Bronze Teams who successfully completed their Final Expeditions on the Marlborough Downs over the first two weekends of term. This involved two days walking and an overnight camp, navigating through woods, downland and farm fields, covering approximately 25km and carrying their full kit.

All Teams were praised for their team work, enthusiasm, determination and cheerfulness, for their good organisation and campcraft and for their plentiful cooking.  Rain the first weekend and hot sun the second inspired a variety of unique D of E fashions… and the finish at Urchfont was made all the better by the presence of Mrs Stephens’ cakes!

The majority of the LV Form Group have now completed their Bronze Award and those with activities to be signed up at home are encouraged to do this as soon as possible. The girls are now very welcome to sign up for Silver.
