St Mary’s was delighted to welcome Sam Enthoven on Tuesday 4th March to celebrate World Book Day.
Sam’s debut novel, The Black Tattoo, was endorsed by Education Secretary Alan Johnson and the School Library Association as one of the top 170 "Must-Read Books for Teenage Boys" in 2007 and his latest title, TIM, Defender Of The Earth, was shortlisted for the 2008 Waterstone's Children's Book Prize.
Sam spoke to St Margaret’s Year 6 and St Mary’s LIV and MIV Forms, and then signed books throughout tea time. On his own website, Sam commented that “the students’ attention was absolutely impeccable throughout, their questions were tremendous, and the time just zipped past”.
