Gibbins House Charity Day
This year's theme for Charity Day at Gibbins House was the St Trinian's Café. The Common Room was expertly turned into a school room, complete with hockey sticks, football boots and lots of mock graffiti. With the recent St Trinian's film as inspiration, the girls dressed up in various guises. Olivia made a fabulous Headmistress and Harriet bore a scary resemblence to Russell Brand, who played Flash Harry in the film. There were also lots of girls dressed as geeks, emos, posh totty and scarily good chavs! On the menu were Mars Bar toasties, ice cream cones, chocolate fountains and more varieties of cake than ever seen before! The girls worked remarkably hard and it was an excellent team effort. The total raised was £490, half of which will go to the school charity for this year, the
Rowdeford Trust and the other half to Gibbins House chosen charity,
Help for Heroes.
Thank you to all those who came and dined with us and to the parents who baked and bought goodies for us to sell. Congratulations to the Gibbins girls for a job very well done.
