Middle Temple Trip

Middle TempleOn Monday 26th November the Sixth Form went to Middle Temple, London.  It was a great experience for the girls to see one of the most ancient law courts and get a taste of what it might be like to have a career as a barrister.  As one of the most beautiful buildings in London the girls were entranced by the amazing architectural design.  The Sixth Form were given a tour through the great hall and the Templar’s church.  The Templar’s church took the girls back through 900 years of history and they found out that the Da Vinci Code’s claim about the Holy Grail was not quite true.  The tour of the Great Hall was equally as exciting, the girls were fortunate enough to be shown around by the Head of Treasury, Robert Seabrook QC who answered many eager questions about his profession.  To finish off the eye opening day, the girls were invited to have lunch at the high table, an honour that was appreciated by all.
