On the 10th November, the girls in MIV Form had a social with the boys from Horris Hill School. This social was a little bit special because the newly acquainted boys and girls had a chance to play some ice-breaker games before the disco got under way. The boys quickly got into the swing of things when they were each labelled with a sticker on their back and were asked to find their partner in the sea of excited, but shy girls. Once the boys and girls found their partners, they were put into groups for a quiz. The winning team got a box of chocolates for their knowledge. The lights were dimmed, and the music was turned up and the disco was soon underway. Within minutes, a sneaky check-up on the dancers revealed that the icebreaker games were in fact a great idea, as everybody was laughing and talking and dancing together. The girls and boys had a lovely night and we are looking forward to seeing the boys again soon.
