The Lily Ball

We hosted our first Lily Ball on 1st July. The ball was arranged for the UVI Form girls, their parents and friends, plus staff and partners. We were blessed with a perfect summer’s evening, warm and still, and despite England losing their world cup match, everyone had a wonderful night.

The champagne reception was followed by a delicious dinner and plenty of wine kindly supplied by Mr Cullis. Mr Armour did a fantastic job running the auction and we spent the rest of the evening dancing the night away to What Next! a 10 piece band headed up by Mr Fricker, father of Tatts, one of the UVI Form girls who was responsible for the original idea for the ball.

During the evening we managed to raise a fantastic £2,000 for our two chosen charities, The Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
