Upon enquiry, we ask parents to send academic information and evidence of English language ability to the Admissions Department. Should this information be of a satisfactory standard, and a place available, parents are invited to register their daughter by returning the completed registration form and non-refundable fee of £200.
Confirmation that a conditional place has been secured for year of entry will be sent out by return. Applicants are invited to attend an individual Assessment and Examination Day. The St Mary’s entrance examinations will be taken for the appropriate point of entry at a mutually convenient time and will not precede Common Entrance examination on the given year of entry. The applicant will be interviewed and given a tour of the school and its facilities.
Places are offered subject to satisfactory performance at examination, acceptance of the standard terms and conditions, and Parent School contract agreement. Following evaluation of the examination results, parents will be advised of the intention to offer a place by e-mail, after which we would request that the parents confirm the intention of accepting the offer. A formal written offer is sent by courier and acceptance is requested by the same method.
It is the responsibility of overseas parents to secure a guardian resident in the UK for their daughter, for the duration of her time at St Mary’s. A UK bank account in the name of the pupil also requires to be set in place.
