Another Busy and Successful Week of Sport!

We had a very busy and successful week of Sport before a well deserved Exeat! Last week was all about our Hockey Teams performing well. The 1st XI Hockey Team were disappointed not to have been challenged by a higher Marlborough team, winning with a convincing score of 5-0. Our U16s beat Dauntsey’s 2nd Team and our U13A and Bs beat Prior Park Prep. Meanwhile, the U15s enjoyed a new and worthwhile fixture with Wells Cathedral, losing 2-0 in a tough match. All in all it was a very successful week filled with hockey.

In Arena Eventing at Bicton, Grace (LVI) won the 1m class, qualifying for the National Championships at the end of the month. This means St Mary’s has a total of 9 qualifications for the champs. Our Swimmers headed to the ESSA Swimming Relays and there was a great team effort made by the girls, who weren’t at all intimidated by the tough competition. Their relay take overs were excellent. Swimmer of the day with two incredibly quick swims in the 50m freestyle and 50m breaststroke has to go to Indie (MIV)!

A very well done to all who participated and their marvelous results!
