Last week saw an unbeaten set of athletics and tennis fixtures. The Junior Athletics Teams beat Sheldon and Westonbirt on Wednesday and Godolphin on Saturday, producing many excellent individual and team performances. All of the Tennis Teams beat Godolphin and although there was a disappointing lack of depth in their Senior Teams, both the U13 and U12As enjoyed a nail-biting final set decider, with St Mary’s taking both to maintain a clean sweep. Harriet Hillman also had a very successful weekend outside school, winning the GB Biathle series in Cheltenham, qualifying for the GB Team at the Europeans. On Sunday Harriet competed in the Quadrathon at the Somerset Combined Track and Field Events, moving up from 5th to finish 2nd and winning the final event, the 800m. Congratulations to all who represented the school.
