A busy week of Hockey, Cross Country, Lacrosse and more …

Our penultimate week before Half Term resulted in some fantastic hockey matches. In the restructure of the English Hockey Championships, the U16s played Sherborne in the first round of the Tier 1 National Cup. The score was tied 2-2 at the end of the match and extra time pursued. Despite our best efforts and fine level of play, Sherborne clinched the crucial goal to take them into the next round.  The U13A and B Teams were on winning form against Warminster and the U12s enjoyed victorious encounters with Royal High, Bath. The Cross Country Teams competed in the first round of the Schools Cup, facing the gruelling course over Tavistock hill. Congratulations to Lara and Eva Rose who came 5th and 6th in their respective age groups. On Saturday, the Lacrosse Teams finally enjoyed playing in some sunshine down in Sherborne. There were some convincing wins for the 1st, U15B, U14A and U14B and some very close and exciting games for the 2nds and U15 As.

Well done to all those who represented the school.
